Straight out of the newly open Sinsen Sonic collective comes a combo named Oslo OPN. Their intent is playing and recording music witch will recapture some of the vibrant feel of the classic recordings from the sixties and early seventies, emulating the live tradition with minimal use of production. This spirit draws inspiration from classic recordings of early greats as Beatles, Bob Dylan and early Rolling Stones as well as more contemporary artist like Kurt Veil, Phosphorescent and Half Moon Run.
Oslo OPN started in 2014 rehearsing at Incognito Studio where the current line-up was formed. Their musical experience is centered around playing live in different bands (Tim, Willyson, Honk 2k and High Tech Low Life), hosting their own music festivals as well as occasionally playing low key venues abroad.
Oslo Opn will be releasing their debut EP “All exits are final” as a part of a Trilogy “The Popular Music” shortly…
